The food allergy journey that started it all.
I've lived with food allergies my whole life. Here's the short version — in a video, and in a few paragraphs below.
Food allergies shaped everything about how I moved through the world as a kid: which birthday parties I could go to, what I packed for lunch, and how I asked for help. It also shaped how I write — because I remember being little and wishing a book existed that just got it.
My advocacy work is about making that easier for the next kid. Whether it's a picture book, a speech, or a conversation with a school nurse, the goal is the same: fewer scary moments, more confident kids.
